Heritage Library

Dawson’s library is one of the most treasured spaces in the College, containing the original Chapel.

Dedicated primarily to quiet study, the essence of this space has been preserved, along with many original features, including the wooden railings, chandeliers and the pipes of the Casavant organ.

The library occupies two full wings of the 6th floor and has always been an important space where students can come to study in peace, or, increasingly, gather with classmates to work on group projects.

For those who need high quality information and support to complete their research projects, the library and its staff are an important resource.

Now we are going to climb up the beautiful staircase (inside the library near the circulation desk) to access the 6th floor, the library collection and the Academic Skills Centre.
